From Hofgarten to Figurenfeld

Adventurous round trip from Hofgarten along the Altmühltal river to Figurenfeld and back to the University.

This hike trail takes you from the University´s Hofgarten to explore the Figurenfeld in Hessental. Figurenfeld is an impressive memorial that consists of several sculptures symbolizing the futility of violence and war.

During the track you get to experience various landscapes along the Altmühltal river, valley of Hessental and the hills surrounding Eichstätt. Part of the trail will also take you to the Panoramaweg.

The trail leads you back to the beautiful Hofgarten right by the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.
